| Overview: Finely detailed vintage opal & diamond pendant crafted in 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1970s to 1980s).
Pear shaped cabochon cut opal measures 13mm x 11mm (estimated at 6 carats), accented with an estimated 1 carat of round brilliant cut diamonds (estimated at G-H color and VS2-SI1 clarity). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
The stylish pendant features a modified quatrefoil design. The opal exhibits a fiery play of colors from green to orange, yellow, purple, red, turquoise and blue. The pendant bale does not open yet measures 5mm wide and can accommodate a small to medium thickness chain. A great statement piece with a distinct design.
